Nordic Aviation board member Erik Sakkov says the company is pleased to announce that there will also be flights to Odessa. “Odessa is the pearl of the Black Sea and a port city with an exceptional cultural background, and it has always had a strong friendship with Tallinn,” said Sakkov. “In just over two hours, our passengers can now fly to Odessa and visit its world-famous opera theatre, take a walk on the legendary Deribasivska Street or enjoy the beach in weather that is guaranteed to be warm. Meeting the people of Odessa is an event in itself and well worth experiencing. We also hope they will fly to Estonia to rediscover Tallinn and our other cities.”
Nordic Aviation will be organising flights to Odessa from 28 May to 29 October once a week on Saturdays, and from 22 June to 24 August twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The duration of the flight is 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Odessa and Tallinn have been twin cities since 1997.
Earlier this week, Nordic Aviation also announced the launch of two other summer routes: to Rijeka in Croatia and to Edinburgh in Scotland.
With the new direct flights included, Nordic Aviation, in cooperation with Adria Airways, will be organising flights to 16 different destinations this summer. In addition to Odessa, Rijeka and Edinburgh, the route network includes summer flights to Paris, Nice and Split, and year-round flights to Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Kiev, Munich, Oslo, Stockholm, Trondheim, Vienna and Vilnius.
